Spring Break, day 2

Happy St. Patty's Day! Did you wear green? We did; Blake was insistent about it. Apparently he has learned about getting pinched if you don't wear green.

Well, we slept in...all the way to 8:00! We didn't do much of anything in the morning, but after lunch we went to visit our friends that just moved into the area. Blake played with the kids and I helped my friend decorate a little bit. (She loved my purse!) Blake did his fair-share of pinching his friends; nope, they weren't in green. It's hard to tell him "don't pinch people" when that's part of the whole tradition of St. Patrick's Day.

Later on, we went to T-Ball practice...wearing green. I noticed that most of the kids on the team had on their green team jerseys. No pinching in the dugouts! Tyler even made it to practice, wearing his green scrubs. No chance of pinching there, either. Which was a good thing...Tyler was really tired after a long night of call and a long day in the OR. I don't think he would have laughed about getting pinched.

Dinner was delivery pizza and wings. Tyler was in bed by 8:30 PM; Blake was in bed by 9:00 PM, followed closely by me. All in all, it was a perfectly lazy day. Hope yours was just as good!
