Another one bites the dust!

A set of vertical blinds, that is! Everyone who has been to our house knows just how much I dislike them...to the point of hate. Can you hate an inanimate object? If so, put me down for that choice. So, instead of having new draperies custom-made (who wants to pay for that these days, anyway?), I went the pre-made route. And I'm thoroughly tickled with them!

Ding-dong! The blinds are gone! In their place, I have four functional panels on rings, that I can position at will. Happy, happy! Joy, joy! And, to top it all off, Tyler even likes them!

Yes, those are still paint color swatches on the wall! I am also happy to inform everyone that I have FINALLY picked out a color (and, no, it's not one that anyone has seen yet. Even you, Connie!) and we are on the painter's schedule.
